Hastings Safety Camp coming June 23! The City of Hastings Fire, Police, and Parks and Recreation departments will offer a Safety Camp June 23 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at Hastings High School.

• This one-day camp will teach kids entering 3rd-5th grade a variety of topics including mental safety, fire safety, bike safety, self-defense, and much more. • Participants will be teamed with local leaders from all the participating organizations while they go through a day of games, activities, and learning sessions.

Wednesday, June 23 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Hastings High School 3rd - 5th Graders $20 per day

The Hastings Family Aquatics Center will open this year and swimming lessons will resume! Online Swimming Lesson Registration is now underway. Register online at The pool will open for the 2021 season on Sunday, June 6, 12-5 p.m. for a Family/Floatie Swim!

A reminder from Dakota County: Don't toss plant pots in your recycling cart! Recyclers don't like black plastics because sorting machines can't identify them. And manufacturers don't like them because the plastic can’t be dyed another color.
