Just wanted you all to know about an exciting charity event coming to Hastings. On May 21st we will be having the very first Star Wars convention in Hastings ! The name of the event is Charity Con. We have so much to offer you at Charity Con this year. For starters, 7 Star Wars actors and professionals have donated autographed items for our auction. The auction will be held at our event, and the proceeds will go directly to Hastings Family Services.

Admission to Charity Con is a canned or boxed food item. The donations we collect at the door will go to stock the Hastings Food Shelf. Currently we are seeking donations of Star Wars items, or other items provided by local businesses. We have a sponsorship program, which allows local businesses to purchase table space at our event. The money from the registration fees will go to renting the hall and providing prizes for our costume contest.
