What kind of restaurant does Hastings need?

Let's hear what restaurant you'd like to see come to Hastings. My vote is TGI Friday's, and a Buffalo Wild Wings would be great too.

Olive Garden or Red Lobster!
It's time for Hastings to have the kind of resteraunt that we drive out of town to find! How do we attract a young creative
chef to establish a place like The Harborview in Pepin? or the AftonHouse in Afton? or Norton's in RedWing? or the FreightHouse in Stillwater? anybody remember the RipWrap from a few years ago?
I'd like to see a small place that features locally raised food, local music and local art.

I agree with Richard. A creative chef who uses local ingredients rather than all frozen, packaged ingredients would be nice. I do remember the RipRap and have grieved it's demise all these years since.

i think hastings needs a place for young teens to hangout. a place where kids can play pool and other games, we could put a little cafe in there also. like a club house but everyone is invited to go to
IN AND OUT BURGER..
I tend to also stick to the small locally owned places. Although growing up my family and I used to go to the drive in A&W and then later Steve's in Newport (now no longer in operation). Not many of those left and may add to Hastings' unique nature. Just a thought.
A Texas Roadhouse like they have in Eau Claire. Standing room only, awesome steaks, well everything is great! Large variety of food. That's what we need.
I love Buffalo Wild Wings!
Don't forget about what you already have here! I think our local establishments would appreciate it if you perhaps gave them ideas on what you would like to see on the menu's around town. In this economy, there are many businesses that do a lot for the community and would appreciate the business. Here's a few that I like around Hastings-try them out if you haven't been-or haven't been in a while!
The "Busted Nut" already has GREAT food-Tell Phil or Tatia what you want to see on the menu-they are here to please-and the wait staff are super nice!
Culvers-Dave does so much for the kids around town-and the chili and desserts (and chicken and burgers, etc) are great-especially the chili with the cooler weather that's now here-it's sort of fast food...but way BETTER!......
Mississippi Belle-great atmosphere and italian food!...
Carbones Pizza-simply put...YUM!
Just my thoughts on a few of my favorites here in Hastings.... Don't forget to enjoy what's already here- the owners of your current establishments love their jobs and love to make you happy!
Waffle House, Sonic, or Olive Garden
I would love to see a noodles and company. Or some kind of sushi restirant!
Definately Buffalo Wild Wings!
